Evidence standards

How MKAI makes research inspectable

Every MKAI paper carries its claim, evidence base, method and evidential limit together. The same standard governs publication, correction and the materials retained behind the paper.

01

A defined claim

Each paper states the matter being tested or documented. When the evidence supports a narrower conclusion than the original proposition, the published claim is narrowed with it.

02

A declared evidence base

Documentary studies identify the material included in the analysis and explain exclusions that affect the result. Controlled tests state the AI used, the written instructions, the settings and the outputs retained.

03

A visible method

Each paper explains how material was read, how outputs were coded and which decisions were fixed before generation or analysis began.

04

An evidential limit

Every finding states what its evidence can establish and where that support ends. The limit appears beside the finding with equal prominence.

Evidence methods

Two ways of producing evidence

Documentary studies

Published material is read against a fixed scope.

The paper identifies the documents examined, the period covered, the inclusion rules and the method used to code or compare the material. Contracts, reports, regulatory documents and company disclosures are treated as evidence of what they state.

Controlled tests

Written instructions change while the AI remains fixed.

The paper states the AI used, the conditions applied, the prompts, the settings and the scoring rules. Decisions fixed before generation are identified, and the retained outputs remain available for inspection.

After publication

The archive keeps its publication history

Permanent addresses

A published paper keeps its original address so citations continue to reach the work being cited.

Dated corrections

Corrections, clarifications and material amendments are dated on the paper, with the reason for the change stated plainly.

Earlier work remains available

When later evidence changes a finding, the earlier paper remains available alongside the later evidence and publication history.
