Sue Turner, OBE, Chief Executive of AI Governance Limited, joins MKAI as Specialist Advisor for AI Governance

Morality and Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (MKAI) is proud and delighted to announce that Sue Turner, OBE is joining the MKAI Team as Specialist Advisor for AI Governance.

Sue is one of the first 14 people to be accredited in the Foundations of Independent Audit of AI systems globally. She also has an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science under her belt. 

Sue established Specialist to advise businesses and policy makers on pragmatic AI, data ethics and governance issues and making a positive societal impact.  

She is Chair of The Faculty of Clinical Informatics and Non Executive Director for a waste management company and a financial services mutual.  Her career spans entrepreneurial private businesses and not for profit organisations where she has led significant organisational growth, raised £27 million for charity and collaborated to shift power to help people improve their prospects.  

Sue was awarded the OBE in 2021 for Services to Social Justice.  

“I’m delighted to collaborate with MKAI in the vital work of taking many different views and life experiences into account as we promote AI ethics in practice,” she said.
