MKAI is proud to announce that Karen Beraldo, Director of Communications and Partnerships was nominated at VentureBeat’s Transform 2021 as a ‘Women in AI’ Rising Star.
VentureBeat’s Transform 2021 virtual conference is driven by the notion that artificial intelligence and data analytics are critical to numerous sectors, industries, and geographic regions.
AI and other advanced technologies have always been reserved for more prominent companies or governments. However, the time has come for organizations, startups, and smaller enterprises to leverage these technologies in business transformation.
As MKAI supports diversity and inclusivity with numerous segments, industries, and continents, the team saw synergy between Venture Beat’s and MKAI’s mission.
Artificial intelligence is a sophisticated and continually evolving field, and VentureBeat has an eye on the scene. As new products change how people work, live, and study, new research pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
However, we as organisations and individuals are constantly discovering new ways to address pressing issues and productize and deliver services that solve real market problems, driven by core values and beliefs. Following Karen’s words, MKAI is definitely on the right track when integrating human values into AI and facing challenges while bringing AI back to humans. VentureBeat recognized that.
I am honoured to be nominated in Transform's VentureBeat contest for the category of Rising Star, there are many incredible women recognised in this list. At MKAI we are working hard to integrate sustainable human values into Artificial Intelligence through our global projects, events and partnerships. It means a lot to me to have our work recognised. The nomination galvanises me to keep pressing for a higher representation of women in AI, there is still much work to do! I am proud to be leading the Women in MKAI initiative that launches in August 2021, this is the next stage of our work to make AI more representative of those that it serves.
