"The OU’s collaboration with MKAI has provided good networking and dissemination opportunities. This has provided key benefits for the OU, such as sharing our research and outreach work with a broader community and has helped to foster further engagement with local SMEs and general public. MKAI is collaborating with OU on a number of research projects, such as the Institute of Coding project to bridge the digital skills gap and divide, opening minds project and Inspire (embedding Robotics and Autonomous systems into schools and FE colleges curriculum). We see this as an important partnership in helping to bridge the digital divide and ensure our communities, society and industries have key opportunities to know about these important 4th industrial revolution knowledge and skills. "South Central Institute of Technology (SCIoT) is delighted to collaborate with MKAI. SCIoT Purpose is to Inspire Digital Futures and Values are to; Include, Inspire, Connect and Challenge. The synergies between our organisations’ underpinning foundations are what supports our ongoing collaborations. We have worked on all aspects of curriculum design, development and delivery. MKAI was part of the Industry Partner group who supported development of our recent Higher National Digital Technologies. This involved both co-developing and scrutinising specific content. Ongoing development works between the organisations seeks to find mutually beneficial opportunities to develop. For example, development of Skills ‘Boot Camps’ to develop pipelines of local talent and raising aspirations among groups interested in Digital Technologies. Finally we are proud that, through delivery, our students are able to access the wonderful opportunities provided by the MKAI community and wider ecosystem. We have had students extend the knowledge, skills and behaviours through access to networking, guest speakers and industry talks."
